How to enable Google Offline
Google Offline Mode is a feature that allows you to continue to work on files stored in Google Drive while disconnected from the internet.
Requirements to Configure
1. You must be connected to the internet when first setting up Google Offline Mode.
2. You must use Google Chrome
3. The Offline Mode extension must be turned on.
Steps to configure
1. In Chrome, click the ellipsis icon in the top-right corner, then go to More Tools and click Extensions.

2. Turn on Google Docs Offline.

3. Go back to Google Drive, then open Settings (the gear icon). Make sure this box in Offline is checked.

How to enable a Google file for offline use
1. In Google Drive, locate the document you want to make available offline and open it.
2. Click File, then click “Make available offline.”

3. Once confirmed, you will be able to open this doc and edit it while offline later. Once you reconnect to the internet, your changes will be synced to Google Drive.
